A week back or so, I saw this article/adv. in the newspaper by Cancer Aid & Research Foudation, Mumbai, in which there were photos of two very young children, both around 5 yrs of age who were suffering from Leukemia. The ad. asked for donation (any amount), which would help in the treatment of thousands of people who are very poor and cannot afford it. So, without thinking twice, I went ahead and donated. It made me feel good. I had sent the website to my close friends as well.
So here's the link to its website..... go through it once..... Your contribution means a great deal to the organization, but even more to the cancer patients who rely on Cancer Aid & Research Foundation to help them through the most difficult time of their lives.

Life after death! Does it exist?

I bought this book - life after death a couple of months back. I dont know if I actually believe the whole concept of life after death, reincarnation....etc...But this book contains experiences of people from different parts of the world, who have had real-life near-death experiences & claim to have travelled through a tunnel of white light. Like I said earlier, I do not believe it, but reading it wasn't a waste of time at all. Everyone should read it atleast once.Once you'll start off with it....I bet you wont leave it unread. Trust me!

In another book, Messages from the masters, the author, DR. BRIAN WEISS, has reflected on dozens of fascinating cases from his files & draws on the wisdom of the spirit guides known as The Masters to explore a variety of topics like: reincarnation, nature of the soul, past lives & how to uncover them. He has given few meditations which helps one to see his past life..... !!! hmmm...well, I tried...didn't work for me..... This book wasn't as interesting as the first one......

This is one place I'll never forget, rocky
mountains..the weather...hmmm....
The trip was organised by our university for MBA-class.
The place is full of gorgeous beaches..but Camps Bay is really something!! Other places of interest:
-Table Mountain
-Water Front
-Cape of Good Hope
-Ostrich Farm
-Safari
-Nelson Mandela Jail..( but we chose to go
skydiving instead.....

Interlaken, Switzerland

Went there in 2001, I think...

This is one place which a must-see for anyone &

everyone. Even though the place is small,

it's adventurous, romantic, and has an ammmmmazing view of the snow-capped peaks.

From here, one easily go to Jungfrau (top of Europe)& enjoy the scenic beauty of switzerland. Among the places that I've been to so far, this is another place (apart from Monte Carlo) where

you'll find all type of cars...Lamborghini,

Porsche, Rolls Royce, Ferrari parked

all together.......

Now, do I need to say more about this place???

Another amazing place with beaches. But unfortunately we went there in winter & it waz freezing out there & falf the place was closed for winter. Even then we had good fun there & danced all night at club syndicate n yeah,I got my tattoo done from blackpool itself :)

Am feeling a little hungry,lol, so I've decided to write about a few restaurants, pubs & restro-bars in FARIDABAD that I would like to comment upon & give them my own rating...

ZOSSE (CROWNE PLAZA, SEC-15A)
Without a doubt Zosse is a good restro-bar but not really the kind of place where I would like to go with friends. It's good for family dinners. The food's amazing, the drinks are alright, depending on what you order (I didn't see martini on their card!!!). The appetizers are good, but overall they lack variety.
FOOD: 8/10
AMBIENCE: 6/10
MUSIC: 5/10


PUNJABI TADKA (SRS, SEC-12)
The place's always crowded & noisy. There's no-one to welcome you at the door. The tables are really close (one can easily see & hearwhat's been ordered at the next table). The food's good at times, the same dish would taste different each time you'll go there.Cheap liquor, cheap crowd (esp. groups of boys). The only thing that facinates me their is the check wood work sort of thing done on the ceiling.
FOOD: 6/10
AMBIENCE: 4/10
MUSIC: 2/10 (they have just one CD or what?)


MOKSH (PARSAVNATH MALL,SEC -12)
Hmm...have been there around 5 times so far. The food's great, the place is... too open. The window side tables are the best, theyatleast provide some view. The tables in the middle of the restaurant are not that comfy, but hey! the design of the table is cool, you can just keep your belongings under the glass top, at least the table remains free to keep the food. The worst part is, one can see dustbin & mops under the stairs, which is disgusting. Also, if you are climbing down the stairs,there are chances you might bump your head on the roof.The waiters are always confused & keep dropping things on the floor.
FOOD: 8/10
AMBIENCE: 8/10
MUSIC: 8/10 (the music is different, the mixing is good)


PIND BALUCHI, MUDRA
It'z different! The food's good, waiter's are alert. Mudra...have been there just once....there was NO ONE, except for the DJ & us. Drinks are limited.
FOOD: 7/10
AMBIENCE:7/10
MUSIC: 4/10


SILK (PRISTINE MALL, SEC-31)
Has good Thai & Chinese variety on its menu. Loved the Thai curry, but the rice that we had ordered was hard. The ambience is good, but the couches are very low for the height of the table. FOOD:8/10

DAZZLE (SRS, SEC-12)
Good food, but the waiters are always buzy watching the screen. The service can be late at times. For all those who really like to shake a leg, the floor's really small.

RESTAURANT IN HOTEL MILLENIUM
Starters & appetizers are okay, but food is not upto the expectation, however the quantity is good.

When we went there,it had recently opened, so obviously the service was good, the food was tasty & black-red interior looked good. The table again,was a little high for the couch.

Lately, i've been doing alot of thinking about my life so far, n there'z one & only thing that comes to my mind : NO REGRETS.
It has always been full of surprises, unexpected twists n turns & most important: thousands of unanswered questions. But with every passing day, I learnt things. Things that made me better & more practical. Then again, there still exist those unanswered questions to which I would want to get answers.....some day....maybe!
But if I don't, then hey, no regrets! Do I really care?? (tht sounds like aonther ques)... after all this is life!!!
